The Empowered Woman

The Empowered Woman, she moves through the world with a sense of confidence and grace. Her once reckless spirit now tempered by wisdom. Quietly, yet firmly, she speaks her truth without doubt or hesitation and the life she leads is of her own creation. She now understands what it means to live and let live. How much to ask for herself and how much to give. She has a strong, yet generous heart and the inner beauty she emanates truly sets her apart. Like the mythical Phoenix, she has risen from the ashes and soared to a new plane of existence, unfettered by the things that once that posed such resistance.

Her senses now heightened, she sees everything so clearly. She hears the wind rustling through the trees; beckoning her to live the dreams she holds so dearly. She feels the softness of her hands and muses at the strength that they possess. Her needs and desires she has learned to express. She has tasted the bitter and savoured the sweet fruits of life, overcome adversity and pushed past heartache and strife.

And the one thing she never understood, she now knows to be true, it all begins and ends with you.

The Temple In The Heart

There is a Temple in the Heart of Venus where all the little boys that live within men go to heal from the pain that has been inflicted upon them by misguided women. Within this temple the Great Mother heals their wounds and feeds them the manna from her divine breasts, empowering their courage and self esteem to walk again in the Halls of Men. All male children are welcome but they must first find the way...

Move with joy

Don't move the way fear makes you move.
Move the way love makes you move.
Move the way joy makes you move.

She's in love with her body

She's breaking the myth that intelligence resides only in the mind. She is being gently lead to a very wise teacher ~ her body.

She's realising that her body was the lost child she abandoned a long time ago. She's owning her back. Making up for lost time & love, with deep caring and attention. Her body is no longer the neglected orphan, that she dressed up in fancy clothes and took to parties and outings.

As she embraces and reclaims her body back as her wise companion, she has less and less need for trappings, labels, creams that hide, conceal, highlight, darken or lighten her.

Its her time to love & love & love herself. She's giving herself rest, good food, healing water, massages and exercises. From being a place to stuff her toxins, her body is now her wisest friend and teacher.

Her soul is hungry

The universe is looking out for that woman with soul hunger.

You know the woman being talked about. She's the one who's understood the root of her hunger, and has moved beyond eating plastic food, fast food, soul numbing food that only fed her eating disorder. She's not mistaking how this hunger will be satiated.

Her yearning for a deeper participation is intense. She's ready for a big bite of life. It makes her walk through pain when turning away could be so easy. She'll stop only when she's reached the other side as this pain is nothing compared to what her spirit aches for.

She's the medial woman

Her deep dive into the sacred feminine is opening up fascinating secrets within her. It is the rule of the universe that it honours one's deepest intent.

Currently she is on the threshold of a new world. She's arrived at this place after an ardous journey. She's right now the Priestess of the Portal.

She has reached here through a mystical journey into the unknown. Much of her pilgrimage has not made 'sense' intellectually. She yet cannot define what she searches, but she gave up her need for answers on the way here. She's allowing herself to drop deep into and be guided by her dreams, visions, art, music, poetry.

She's walking

Her unlived life is stirring up, demanding to be lived. It nudges her during the day, and wakes her up in the middle of the night, claiming its space.

She's often found herself caught between her intense desire to participate in the world, and her shrinking fear of her dream's immensity. She'd loved the dreaming, its the implementing that's scary.

As her big dream tips the edge, it gathers its own life force, fuelling her daring along with her aspirations. She's sometimes wonders ~ is she breathing her dream or is the dream breathing her?

She's transforming

She's transforming, as she's learning the new rules of the game of change.

She's given up resisting & fighting the parts she wants to transform. She's deciding to love them instead. And then they change. At the other end, she's also given up defending her most vulnerable parts. These hold her deepest fears, and she's long been trained to fend it from anyone wanting to reach there, including herself.

She's discovering that her vulnerability, which she was claiming as uniquely hers, is a reflection of a larger reality. 'What is most personal is most universal', said Carl Rogers. She's neither fighting nor running away.

She's re-training as the defenceless, and paradoxically, she's becoming more empowered.

She's imagining

Her imagination is transforming from tyrant to beloved.

Sadly, for a long time her imagination had fallen sick, infected with the virus of patriarchy. It frightened her all the time, & told her terrible things about herself. Gosh! She had bought whatever her infirm imagination had sold to her. Her most beautiful gift from god was in chains.

Not any more!

When she's in surrender

She has a great new planning strategy ~ it is called surrender.

Far too long, she's gone on overdrive to plan everything. She was told the more she planned the smarter she was. She must control outcomes & avoid surprises. She assumed that if she did not plan, things could go wrong. It was the way she took care of her neurosis.

That was before she discovered that the universe is her strongest ally. She found that it was not the world out to get her, it was her tyrannical inner voice. The more she's giving up the story that her world is unsafe, the more she's coming into trust. She's no longer freezing her future from a space of fear.

She's so relaxed and hassle-free now. She's in a loving, co-creative relationship with her world. She's learning that the more trusting she is, the easier to manifest her dreams and desires. She makes her prayer, makes her intent, and lets go. She's getting to know the warp and weft of how the universe works.

Synchronicity & easy manifestation is how her world is now. She's getting used to being pampered by the universe.

Love soothes our wounds

Photo: Li Hui

"Most things break instead of transform because they resist. The quiet miracle of love is that without our interference, it, like water, accepts whatever is tossed or dropped or placed into it, embracing it completely.”

“Of course, we are human and are easily hurt if not loved back or if loved poorly. But we waste so much of life’s energy deliberating who and what shall be worthy of our love when in the deepest elemental sense, these choices are not in our province, anymore than rain can choose what it shall fall upon.”

“Certainly we need to make decisions: Who will I spend my time with? Who will I learn from? Who will I live with? Who will I marry? But beneath all that, the element of love doesn’t stop being elemental. It does not stop covering everything before it. And over a lifetime, the pain of withholding this great and quiet force is more damaging than the pain of being rejected or loved poorly.”

“For love, like water can be dammed, but toward what end?”

“In truth, the more we let love flow through, the more we have to love. This is the inner glow that sages and saints of all ages seem to share: the wash of their love over everything before them; not just people, but birds and rocks and flowers and air.”

“Beneath the many choices we have to make, love, like water, flows back into the world through us. It is the one great secret available to all. Yet somewhere the misperception has been enshrined that to withhold love will stop hurt. In truth, it is the other way around. As water soaks scars, love soothes our wounds.”

“If opened up to, love will accept the angrily thrown stone, and our small tears will  lose some of their burn inthe great ocean of tears, and the arrow released to the bottom of the river will lose its point.”
